US Scuba Center's Advanced Open Water Course is a full weekend of diving designed for both the beginner and experienced diver to enhance your experience and knowledge of diving for practical application in the water.
This is a fun course designed for both the novice and experienced diver that helps you sharpen your diving skills under the supervision of an instructor. Training areas you are introduced to include:

This Specialty Class is a Fun, easy way to become a better diver by helping you develop and improve your diving skills through improved kicking, weighting, breathing, buoyancy and body movement techniques in the water. Share the amazing underwater world with your friends.... this course is designed for the digital photographer who owns a Sea and Sea Digital Camera System to learn the basics of underwater photography on the spectacular Sea & Sea Digital Camera Systems which US Scuba Center stocks in the underwater photo department. Two classroom and two pool sessions will help you get the best quality photographs from your camera. This is also the perfect course if you have one of the amazing Digital Cameras and Housing - Bud has tremendous experience and knowledge of these systems.

Protect Your Investment
Learn how your scuba equipment functions and how to keep it in good working condition.
This course will cover wetsuit repair, how your regulator works, tank inspection techniques and requirements, air standards and tips on modifying your equipment for easier functioning. This course helps you to become a better diver by developing a better understanding of your equipment.

US EMERGENCY FIRST AID AND CPR
The US Emergency First Aid CPR Recognition Course is a popular course designed for both divers and non divers. This course will teach you what to do in an emergency medical situation, and is a must for every family member.
US Emergency First Aid CPR is an eight hour medically based class in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care which emphasizes practical application and hands on practice.
At the completion of the course you will receive a two year specialty certification in CPR and First Aid, which also counts toward your MASTER SCUBA DIVER Certification. This course is state licensed by the Michigan Department of Education.
This class is a required for US Scuba Center's State Licensed Rescue Diver Course.
If it has been two years since you took your First Aid/CPR Class, it's time to renew your certification .

This course helps you gain more enjoyment from your boat diving vacation. Topics include procedures for boat diving, terminology, entries and exits. This is a fun course especially in Michigan where charter boats are so readily available. Watch for summer schedule.

The Deep Diver specialty Course provides you with the necessary knowledge and skills required for deeper diving (any diving in excess of 60 feet). Topics covered in the course include: planning, procedures, problems, techniques and hazards of deep diving. A video must be previewed at the store during registration. There is a one hour class session at the lake prior to the two deep dives on the same day. Watch for schedule.

The Night Diver Specialty Course helps prepare you to dive safely and enjoyably at night. You will learn the planning and preparation, procedures, techniques and problems of night diving. Sign Language for Divers is a much need Specialty Course which Applies toward your Master Scuba Diver And Advanced Open Water Certification.
This course teaches you the basics signs of American Sign Language adapted to the underwater environment, finger spelling and special communications for divers. Learn a fun way to develop better communication skills between you and your buddy, increasing safety and your enjoyment of the underwater world.
